Goizueta Business School was founded in 1919 and has since continued to provide an education that combines specialisation with broad business perspectives to create ethical leaders.  The business school does this through providing world-class faculty scholars, an intimate, close-quarters learning experience, an engaged network and a global perspective.  They have a strategic objective to achieve international, intellectual leadership in their top-priority areas of interest, attract the high-quality students, nurture and give back to the Goizueta community and further develop and create more corporate ties.



The MBA is offered in a full-time and evening format and is aimed to produce highly-prepared and qualified leaders who can make an immediate impact on their organisations.  The full-time programme is offered in one-year and two-year formats and are based around an approach supported by the grounding principles of tolerance for ambiguity to foster cross-functional problem-solving, experiential learning and leadership presence.

The One-year MBA Programme is split into three semesters and begins in early May with an intensive summer course designed to review fundamental business skills.  In August, students join the two-year MBA members and complete the final two semesters of electives. The Two-year MBA Programme presents all of the core courses in the first semester and begins in late July.  The core courses are:

  • Managerial Finance
  • Processes & Systems Management

The Evening MBA Programme is comprised of nine courses aimed to build fundamental  business knowledge and eight electives from a choice of 90 elective courses.  The programme is based around three modules:

  • Management Practice
  • Leadership Development
  • International Study

The programme is 32 months long but can be finished in two years.  Classes are scheduled weeknights at 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays.  Below is a the programme structure, provided by Goizueta.

The Executive MBA is offered in modular and weekend formats and combines a rigorous management curriculum with leadership development and management practice.  The Weekend MBA is designed for individuals in an executive career and the Modular MBA is designed for executives with a heavy work-load.

The Executive MBA programme is built on a lock-step curriculum delivered or the period of 21-months, beginning in August.  The programme includes a week-long immersion experience at Washington Campus and global business practices covered in an eight-day international business trip.  Below is the structure of the Weekend MBA, provided by Goizueta.
